The Missing Lynx

February 27 - Miranda blockade

It was the Consulari, Jai Raghilda, who finally found Lynx. True to her roots as a salvage operator, she was testing a new scanner when she located the boy. The message was broken and came through in segments. As far as I could reconstruct, this was the message:

Dear Major Siamendes,

I was testing a transponder scanner in the Trojan meteor field in the space near Hale's Moon. Inside of a hollowed out 64 meter rock near the top of the field was 5 stasis containers inside on of the hollowed out chambers. There was a lot of blood. One stasis chamber was empty except for bloodstains. Another contained body parts. There were 3 unopened chambers with people inside who appeared to be intact, one of them looks like Lynx.

I took these pictures at the scene. I was testing the new salvage scanner when I found this. I notified Tillery because he was in the system. I was unaware that you did not inform him that Lynx might be missing.

Further, the Consulari identified the two other people as Pilot Meg Dandley, Miner Wally Bendan.

I sent a brief message asking her to move Lynx to safety and began the long journey homeward.
